 Miscellaneous Info: - First week is free, come meet Sensei Austin and try it out!
- Until your uniform arrives please wear comfortable clothing suitable for exercise. All students are required to wear the class uniform. No shoes or socks. Bring water bottles.
- Participating parents may take part in class. Non-participating parents and siblings may observe quietly, keeping disruptions to a minimum. Please turn cell phones to vibrate.
- Classes will be taught primarily by Sensei Austin, however other assistant instructors may be brought in as needed. You will be given advance notice of this when possible.
- Students will be taught: discipline, self-respect, respect for others, self-confidence, physical fitness, mental toughness, self-control, goal setting & achievement, mental focus, traditional terminology, history of Karate, kata (forms), self-defense, kumite (sparring), punches, kicks, blocks, stances, etc.
- Students will have the opportunity to advance to higher belts at an individual pace. Promotions (testing) will be offered several times per year at the discretion of the Sensei and additional fees may apply.
- We understand that students participate in other sports and may take “breaks” from class. Students will not be “demoted” however no promotions will occur until student is back up to the appropriate level.

Registration Fee: $40 per family. This is a one-time fee that includes one uniform. Additional uniforms are $26 each. Monthly Dues: Dues include as many or few classes that are age appropriate as student wishes to take. $40 for one student $60 for two students in one family* $75 for the family* Fees will be pro-rated for first month. Payment is due by the first class of each month. *Family is defined as parents and children living in same household. If payment is not made by the third week of class, then participation will be halted until fees are paid. Reminders will be posted.

Class cancellation may occur: Make-up classes due to class cancellation will held as needed. Emails will be sent to notify you, or check the website: yatesmartialarts.com Private Lessons are available. General pricing is $25/hour. Semi-Private lesson rates may vary, please contact Sensei.
